The only good thing about Tottenham nowadays is some of the beer produced there, Redemption, Beavertown.
Back in the day, we were up The Ritzy or Elton's most weekends, for those who remember, even Memory Lane used to be good for beers and strippers before the game, but that was twenty odd years ago. The place is a toilet now.

Never been bothered by the Tottenham area…. Almost got our heads caved in one year with the locals lobbing bits of masonary from the estate near Northumberland Park station but apart from that the only pissing off point was the last few times we went we could never get a beer ANYWHERE near the ground or inside the ground… not like the old days that!

Fantastic stadium yes, but it's a fuck dump of an area. That's not changing anytime soon. Give me Stratford over Tottenham any day.

I don't really care about their stadium. Why does this have to be a competition over who has the best house?
What matters is what happens on the pitch and that we keep beating them. I've had no problem seeing the game at the London Stadium and although the atmosphere was weak last season mainly due to appalling performances and poor planning / stewarding, I think it will get better.
None of the modern stadiums are a patch on the old grounds in my opinion unless all you care about is home comforts and wifi.
I wonder what Spurs ticket prices will be like? I bet they will end up being astronomic to cover the huge cost of that build and the ongoing maintenance of it. A climbing wall and and sky roof aren't going to save them much.
Don't know what deal they have done with the NFL but can't see that working out long term. Wembley is a much better venue for it.
It could be a White Hart elephant.

Always good to wind up rivals so I applaud the person that did this.
The title of this thread using the word 'ruin' is more than a tad over the top... but I get we shouldn't be surprised about that. Them lot are always a bit OTT.
As for their stadium. It pains me to say, but it will be the best in the league. with ours only making the top 20 by default.

Never got this Spurs and Palace etc is hard to get to?? How?? It’s in London… transport connections galore?? Overland and Tube… In all the London derbies I ever went (40 or 50 so) I can honestly never say that they was an arsehole to get to … Grimsby and Tranmere Yes… Spurs and Palace?? Behave….

Yes it will be a superb football stadium but it's a nightmare to get to like Palace is. Tottenham is also the ghetto of London, makes Hackney look decent
